The qualifier also draws competitors from 20 different states, with Ohio leading the way as the most represented state with 23 players entered. The championship field includes a mix of accomplished professionals and elite amateurs. A total of 46 professionals and 36 amateurs are scheduled to compete, while 28 players earned direct exemptions into the final qualifying stage. Among the notable competitors is Rod Spittle, the oldest player in the field at age 71. Ben Crane is the youngest competitor in the field at age 50 with a March birthdate.
