Formed more than 30 years ago, with roots reaching back even further, the Dayton District Women’s Golf Association (DDWGA) exists to promote and support women’s golf in the Greater Miami Valley. The DDWGA provides playing opportunities, USGA course ratings, and collegiate scholarship support for female golfers in our region.

Female golfers residing in the Greater Miami Valley are automatically members and are welcome to participate in any DDWGA event, provided they maintain a valid USGA-GHIN Handicap Index through a Miami Valley golf course or an allied organization.

The season begins with the Spring Shamble, followed by the Twin Best Ball. Next is the Tri-City, a 15-player team competition featuring golfers from Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus. The season concludes with the DDWGA Classic.

These DDWGA programs—along with other Miami Valley Golf events, Masters events, USGA Course Ratings, championship qualifiers, and game stewardship—are only possible because of the strong support of our members. We encourage you to share the game of golf and its life-enhancing benefits, not only for our generation but for those who follow.
