 Formed more than 25 years ago with origins dating back decades, the DDWGA provides playing opportunities, course ratings and collegiate scholarships to females residing in the Greater Miami Valley Area. Female golfers are automatically members and may play in any of the DDWGA events as long as they maintain a USGA-GHIN Handicap Index through one of the Miami Valley golf courses or organizations. The season begins with the Spring Shamble followed closely by the Twin Best Ball. After the Twin Best Ball is the Tri-City which is a 15-person team match with ladies from Dayton, Cincinnati & Columbus. Moving further into season is the Fall Classic before the season concludes with the Annual Celebration, which is a four person variable best ball followed by an awards banquet. The Annual Celebration is held at Dayton CC. All of these DDWGA Programs, as well as MVG, Masters events & USGA Course Ratings, Championship Qualifiers and Game Stewardship is not possible without our great members who support the game.
