The 2026 Champion of the 104th Metropolitan Championship will be exempt into the 126th U.S. Amateur at Merion Golf Course (East Course) in Ardmore, PA, and the 2026 Ohio Amateur Championship.
Additionally, the top three finishers and ties will be exempt into Final Qualifying for the 2027 U.S. Amateur.
All tournament rounds will start at 7:30 AM. Groupings will be re-seeded after each round based on score, with the highest scores teeing off first.

Spectators are permitted; however, spectator carts are unlikely to be available.
Scoring stations will be positioned throughout the course.
No on-site registration. Players should be at the first tee at least five (5) minutes prior to their starting time.
Practice facilities will open approximately one (1) hour prior to the first tee time. Practice balls are included in the entry fee.
Bring Your Own Caddie: Yes. Caddie bibs will be provided and must be worn.
Parent Caddie: Permitted; however, over-parenting will not be tolerated.
Golf Carts: Players may ride. Carts are included in the entry fee with a maximum of two (2) carts per group.
