 | NCR Defending Champions | The 31st Miami Valley Team Invitational (MVTI) is set for Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Springfield Country Club. This prestigious competition brings together teams of eight players, with four competing on the front nine and four on the back nine during each shotgun start.
The entry fee includes 27 holes of golf, a cart, practice balls, a boxed lunch, beverages and hors d’oeuvres after play. Please note that breakfast and alcoholic beverages are not included.Schedule of Events- 8:30 AM – Practice areas open
- 9:20 AM – Team photos
- 9:45 AM – Opening remarks
- 10:00 AM – Shotgun Start #1 – Four Ball (Better Ball)
- Teams will compete in a best-ball format, with each player playing their own ball and the best score per hole counts toward the team total.
- 12:00 PM – Boxed lunch provided
- 1:00 PM (approx.) – Shotgun Start #2 – Foursomes (Alternate Shot)
- One player tees off on the odd-numbered holes, while their partner tees off on the even-numbered holes.
- Penalty strokes do not affect the order of play.
- 3:00 PM (approx.) – Shotgun Start #3 – Individual Stroke Play (Singles)
- Special Notes:
- No player may compete on the same nine holes in all three formats.
- Each player competes individually. All formats are stroke play in this gross competition.
Scoring & Team Composition- Four Ball (Better Ball) and Foursomes (Alternate Shot) - Best 3 of 4 team scores will count.
- Singles (Individual Stroke Play) - Best 6 of 8 scores will count.
- Each team may include one professional golfer employed by or affiliated with their club for each format.
- Teams may adjust their roster or make substitutions before the start of each format.
Eligibility & Entry FeeThe MVTI is open to all recognized clubs within Miami Valley Golf's territory. The entry fee is $1,200 per team ($150 per player), billed to each club. We look forward to an exciting day of competition at one of the Miami Valley's premier golf events! For FAQ
