Practice Rounds

Available by calling the Golf Shop at 937-399-0351. The 1st tee will close at 4:00PM on Sunday, June 1st for course preparation. Transportation during practice rounds is at the player’s discretion, with a nominal fee, based on course conditions.

Course Set-Up

The course will play to a par of 70 and approximately 6700 yards. Review Past Results Here

Dress Code

Traditional golf attire is required. Shorts are permitted at this Sectional Qualifier.

Distance Measuring Devices

Permitted, provided they are used to measure distance only. For Additional Information

Caddies

Players should bring their own caddies. No transportation during qualifying rounds unless ADA qualified and approved by the USGA. Pushcarts are permitted.

Push or Pull Carts

Personal push and pull carts, including motorized ones, are allowed. No rentals available at Springfield CC.

Footwear

Metal spikes are permitted.

Practice Putting

Permitted on or near the first teeing area and other designated areas per Rule 5.5b.

Qualifying Field

Number of qualifying spots announced morning of the qualifier. All ties and alternates decided by playoff. Players are responsible for being in position for a playoff.

Registration

No on-site registration required. Please reach your starting tee a few minutes before each start time.

Starting Times

1st round starts at 7:00AM. 2nd round starts at 12:30PM, with players starting on the opposite tee of Round 1. (2nd round is 5:30 or 30 minutes after the groups round one completion time whichever is greater)

Practice Facility

Located ~1/2 mile from 1st and 10th tees. Player and caddie transportation available before Round 1 and between Rounds 1 and 2. Plan accordingly.

Pace of Play

4 hours and 28 minutes per round per group.

Spectator Carts

Spectator carts are prohibited during qualifying rounds.

Clubhouse, practice facility, and locker room available. No on-site breakfast, but lunch provided by the Greater Springfield Partnership.
