|USGA COURSE AND SLOPE RATING - Miami Valley Golf is licensed by the USGA to issue Course and Slope Ratings, which are used to calculate members' Handicap Indexes at all member facilities. Course Rating Expire after 10 years and membership ensures at least one course rating within each time period.
|USGA-GHIN HANDICAP SERVICE - The GHIN (Golf Handicap Information Network) software is the leading provider of Handicap Computational Services in the United States. This service generally serves as a revenue sources for Member Clubs.
|YOUTH ON COURSE PROGRAM - In the fall of 2017, Miami Valley Golf partnered with the Youth on Course program. Member facilities become part of the national program that subsides green fees during times facilities set. This creates a win-win scenario as the Junior Golfers who are members of this program only pay $5 to play under program times and facilities are reimbursed for the difference. To learn more
|TOURNAMENT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE POWERED BY GOLF GENIUS - The Tournament Management Software is fully integrated with the handicap system. Features include standard and customizable reports and scorecards, and an option for real-time scoring on video displays. Tournament Management users can also create and send html reports to web server, multiple formats, multiple sets of flights and tees for pairings and scoring of players and/or teams, proximity markers, hole location sheets, and a comprehensive help menu. |COURSE MEASUREMENT - Miami Valley Golf measures courses using a GPS device to ensure the most accurate hole yardages possible. Course Rating and course measuring are provided free of charge to Miami Valley Golf member clubs on a regular basis.

|THE MIAMI VALLEY GOLF FOUNDATION (Golf Next) is our charitable affiliate (501c3) and seeks to promote education and character development through golf to deserving youth in communities across the Miami Valley. This includes the Youth on Course continuum, which offers youth of our area affordable access to golf facilities, a scholarship program for youth to continue their education, and other activities that expose youth to the game and its benefits. To assist the Foundation and its purposes, Miami Valley Golf absorbs a major portion of the Foundation's administrative overhead and also contributes funds to assist the Foundation in its projects.

|SPEAKER'S BUREAU - Need a speaker for your next club meeting? Would you like to host a Rules seminar for your club? The MIAMI VALLEY GOLF Speakers Bureau provides knowledgeable staff to speak to your club on a variety of subjects.
|SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS - On line listing and forward to the Dayton Daily News and other local and regional publications.
|RULES OF GOLF SUPPORT - Knowledgeable Miami Valley Golf staff members answer those tricky questions on the Rules of Golf and other areas. In addition, a member of the MVGA rules and competitions department will be happy to meet with your course officials to explain how a course should be properly marked and how local rules should be worded.
|CLUB VISITATIONS - the Club Visitation Program provides an opportunity for club officials to meet with Miami Valley Golf representatives to discuss the various programs offered by the Miami Valley Golf and the role the Miami Valley Golf plays in serving the golf community. The visitations occur at the local club and allow issues to be proactively addressed, while providing a forum for member clubs to give feedback to the Miami Valley Golf.
|CLUB EDUCATION SEMINARS - Miami Valley Golf Club Education Seminars are designed to help clubs improve their efficiency in many facets of their operations and share ideas with other clubs. They are held each year in different locations throughout Miami Valley. Miami Valley Golf also co-sponsors seminars with many organizations.
CLUB DELEGATE PROGRAM - Miami Valley Golf Club Delegates serve an important role as a communicator and supporter of the MVGA. Their involvement helps to promote the game of golf to members of their home club. Delegates receive frequent updates on MVGA activities to help ensure Member Clubs are aware of, and understand, the full benefits of MVGA membership services.
