Born and raised in Asia, Rob grew up in a globally minded family—his father worked for the Voice of America (VOA). That international upbringing sparked a lifelong passion for travel and exploration, themes that have carried through his personal and professional life.

Rob began playing golf in college and developed a lasting love for the game. He is an eight-time champion of the Jackson Open Golf Tournament, a 2-person handicapped event held since 1972. This long-running, unofficial Procter & Gamble gathering for those who worked at the Pringles Manufacturing Plant in Jackson, Tennessee became a hallmark of camaraderie and competition in his life. Though based in Cincinnati, Rob still plays occasionally at Blue Ash Golf Course, appreciating both the challenge of the game and the solitude it offers.

Professionally, Rob built a 35-year career at Procter & Gamble, where he worked until his retirement. The values of discipline and dedication he carried into his career are equally visible in his volunteer work and personal pursuits.

Outside of golf, Rob is an avid traveler and experienced diver, holding the distinction of Master Scuba Diver and Dive Master with more than 53 years of diving experience in locations across the world. He is also an enthusiastic PC video gamer, enjoying the strategy and creativity the medium provides.

Rob has been married to Suzi for 47 years, and together they have raised two sons. His life reflects a balance of family, career, community service, and personal adventure. Whether on the golf course, beneath the ocean’s surface, or exploring distant countries, Rob Aleksa embodies a passion for discovery and a dedication to the communities he serves.
