Congratulations to our Senior Metropolitan and Mid-Amateur Champion, Peter Samborsky II, who recorded rounds of 69-69 for a two-day total of 138. This marks the first time since Dan DeVore in 2016 that a senior player has won both championships. Great playing, Peter! Adam Black finished as the Mid-Amateur runner-up with an even-par total of 140 following consecutive rounds of 70. Michael Greenwood won the Senior Metropolitan Ages 65-74 Division with rounds of 75-74 for a total of 149. Jeff Sparks finished one stroke back at 150 following rounds of 72-78. Gordon Willins won the Senior Metropolitan Ages 75+ Division with rounds of 81-85 for a total of 166. | As the Senior Metropolitan Champion, Peter Samborsky II has earned an exemption into Final Qualifying for the 2027 U.S. Senior Open Championship. |
