| More Golf in 2024 Challenge | |||||||||
| Now back for it's sixth year, the 2024 Season Challenge to post more rounds of golf during our active season then in 2023 will begin on March 15th and end at the end of our Active Season, November 30th. Three winners will receive a Gift Certificate to the Miami Valley Golf Shop of the winners choosing. The first to be drawn will win $300, the second, $200 and the third $100. The drawing will be held in December for those who registered for this challenge and posted more rounds of golf in 2024. Golfer's chances for winning will increase based on the number of scores posted over their 2023 total. To be eligible you must be an active member of the MVGA/GHIN System Handicap System.

| In 2023, the winner was Lisa Griner. Lisa played 30 more rounds of golf in 2023 than he did in 2022. The 2023 contest had 34 golfers post 16 or more rounds and they received 8 chances to win. 9 posted 11-15 more rounds, receiving 4 chances, 12 posted 6-10 more rounds, receiving two chances and 15 golfers posted between 1-5 more rounds receiving a single chance. All told we had 123 people register for the contest and 70 qualified to for chances to win. In 2023.In 2022, the winner was Dave Stover. Dave played 27 more rounds of golf in 2022 than he did in 2021. The 2022 contest had 13 golfers post 16 or more rounds and they received 8 chances to win. 10 posted 11-15 more rounds, receiving 4 chances, 13 posted 6-10 more rounds, receiving two chances and 9 golfers posted between 1-5 more rounds receiving a single chance. All told we had 206 people register for the contest and 45 qualified to for chances to win. In 2022.In 2021, the winner was Holly Lane. Holly played 10 more rounds of golf in 2021 than she did in 2020. The 2021 contest had 19 golfers post 16 or more rounds and they received 8 chances to win. 13 posted 11-15 more rounds, receiving 4 chances, 8 posted 6-10 more rounds, receiving two chances and 11 golfers posted between 1-5 more rounds receiving a single chance. All told we had 212 people register for the contest and 54 qualified to for chances to win. In 2021.In 2020, the winner was Cindy Sitzman. Cindy played 8 more rounds of golf in 2020 than she did in 2019 and win despite the long odds of only have 2 Points Awarded in the Drawing. The 2020 contest had 99 golfers post 16 or more rounds and they received 8 chances to win. 28 posted 11-15 more rounds, receiving 4 chances, 28 posted 6-10 more rounds, receiving two chances and 29 golfers posted between 1-5 more rounds receiving a single chance. All told we had 268 people register for the contest and 184 qualified to for chances to win. In 2020.In 2019, the winner was Kim High. Kim played 17 more rounds of golf in 2019 than he did in 2018. The 2019 contest had 55 golfers post 16 or more rounds and they received 8 chances to win. 21 posted 11-15 more rounds, receiving 4 chances, 31 posted 6-10 more rounds, receiving two chances and 36 golfers posted between 1-5 more rounds receiving a single chance.
