Annual Tri-City Matches

Tri-City_TrophyThe Annual Tri-City Matches, hosted by Columbus, will be played on Tuesday, August 4th at New Albany Country Club.

Founded in 1989, New Albany Country Club has become one of central Ohio’s premier golf venues and has hosted numerous high-level amateur and professional events. The course is recognized for its championship design and consistently strong playing conditions.

Each city—Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton—will field a 15-player team. Up to five players per team may be of college age, provided they have graduated from high school. The Cincinnati team enters as the defending champion.

The matches are contested in a three-ball match play format, with each player competing head-to-head against the other two players in their group. Points are awarded as follows:

  • 2 points for a won hole
  • 1 point for a tied hole
  • 0 points for a lost hole

All points earned by each team are aggregated across all matches, and the team with the highest total point count is declared the winner.

Additional event details will be distributed closer to the match date.
