| Jim Heimbach |
| -For Jim Heimbach, golf has been a lifelong passion that
began at an early age. A Centerville, Ohio resident and member of NCR Country
Club, Jim first became interested in the game as a child. At just nine years
old, he earned his first golf award when he was named the 9-hole Club Champion
at Greene Country Club. That early accomplishment was the beginning of a
lifetime in the game, with Jim going on to earn various other golf honors over
the years. Now, Jim is bringing that passion to Miami Valley Golf
as a new volunteer. He especially enjoys serving as a walking scorer, giving
him the opportunity to stay close to the action while helping support
tournament operations. Jim is no stranger to giving his time to the game,
having also volunteered at Hoopla and USGA events. Jim retired from NCR Corporation in 2025 after an
impressive 41-year career as a Software Architect. He continues to stay
involved with NCR Country Club, where he serves as a member of the Board of
Trustees. Away from the golf course, Jim enjoys collecting golf
memorabilia, old soda signs, and clocks. He is married and has two grown
