- It is with heavy hearts, our golf community bids farewell to a dear friend of our game, accomplished competitor, and stalwart supporter of our game Mark Hardin.   Mark was involved in an Auto accident on Wednesday afternoon on I-75 which led to his passing.  

Beyond his contributions to the world of golf, Mark served as the Athletic Director at Sycamore High School, where he touched the lives of students, athletes, and colleagues alike. His leadership, guidance, and unwavering commitment to excellence elevated the athletic program and enriched the lives of those under his care. 

In their statement, the district expressed gratitude for Mark's exemplary service and praised his invaluable contributions to the school community. His legacy of integrity, passion, and dedication will forever be cherished and remembered. 

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark's family, friends, and the entire Sycamore High School community during this difficult time.
