| A Fun Time for All |
 - Our second DDWGA event of
2023 hosted at Piqua Country Club was another wonderful day of golf as the Twin
Best Ball competition hosted a field of 72 women making up 18 teams. The staff
at Piqua Country Club went above and beyond for our competitors and displayed
marvelous hospitality and comfort. A special mention to Golf Course
superintendent Tim Missimer for keeping the course in phenomenal condition
throughout the busy summer.The event featured foursomes that combined for 11 scores of par or better on hole #11 making it the easiest of the day. The hardest hole was #6 with just 3 scores of par or better on the day. Our team with the lowest net score was comprised of Arlene Barton, Glenda Bietry, Shelly Hemmerle, and Bonnie Perry with a score of 63 (-9). The team with the lowest gross score was comprised of Marty Dale, Marla Flinn, Jacque Howell, and Sandy Finkes with a score of 157 (+13).
