- Miami Valley Golf has finalized its team for the upcoming 21st Ohio Intrastate Matches, to be played on October 2, at Worthington Hills Country Club in Columbus.

First contested in 1999 at the Medallion Club and founded by the Columbus District Golf Association, the Intrastate Matches were created to bring together Ohio’s amateur golf associations. The biennial event features six-player teams—two women mid-amateurs, two men mid-amateurs, and two senior men—competing in 18 holes of stroke play, with the best five scores counting toward the team total.

Representing Miami Valley Golf in 2025 are:

• Women’s Mid-Amateurs: Britt Platt & Molly Horstman

• Men’s Mid-Amateurs: Josh Elliott & Paul Day

• Senior Men (55+): Pete Betzold & Tim Sorrows

The schedule begins with a practice round on Wednesday, October 1, followed by a team reception. Competition will be held on Thursday, October 2, with a morning shotgun start.
