Congratulations to the Cincinnati Bearcat, Ty Gingerich, for winning the 116th Ohio Amateur Championship that completed play yesterday at Maketewah Country Club.  His 19 under finish gave him a four-shot victory over Troy Taylor from Westerville.

Finishing 3rd, was Wright State Raider Golfer, Tyler Goecke, at 13 under par followed by his fellow teammate Davis Root, who finished alone in fourth at 10 under par. 

Others from our area making the final cut where Dhaivat Pandya and Jordan Gilkison who finished in a tie for sixteenth.  Our recently crowned Metropolitan Champion, Mikkel Mathiesen, finished in a tie for 30th, Jeff Scohy finished in a tie for 32nd, and tying for 40th, was Cole Corder.
