- Our area is privileged to have the Western Amateur in our area and Moraine Country Club to host the week of July 28th.  Many in our sport rank the Western Amateur right behind the US Amateur in status and prestige.

Most of the Western Am field is based on exemptions in many categories, however there is a qualifier on Sunday, July 28^th over the North Course at NCR CC for 7 positions in the Championship field.  The qualifier field size is limited to 84 Participants and while it also takes into consideration your playing record there is also a first come first serve component as well.

So if you are interested, here is the link to the Application which has a non-refundable $25 application fee and if you are selected you will receive an email to complete the Qualifier Process around June 28th.
