After Round 2
ben_cors_2_canvaContinuing his momentum from yesterday, Ben Cors had another strong round underway when a storm halted play for the day. Will Jackson and Luke Metzger both tied the course record of 63 set by four players yesterday.

Rain showers at 3:40 did not stop play but a heavy storm at 5:21 put a halt to the final group finishing the last two holes. Play will resume at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow with the leaders to complete holes 17 and 18.

The cut will be made and the third round will begin at approximately 8:00 a.m.  The projected cut is set at 3-under par.

Today, the hardest hole was #1, the 344-yard par 4 with a scoring average of 4.40. The easiest hole was #17, the 272-yard par 4 with 43 birdies from the field. Despite increases in yardages on holes 3, 7, 8, 13, and 18, the scoring average for the field dropped by almost half a stroke to 73.13 from Thursday's average of 73.58.
