After Round 1
- Logan Sutto carded a 67 (-5) to lead the field at the 104th Metropolitan Championship after the first round. The current Butler University player capitalized on the par fives at Beavercreek Golf Club, playing them bogey-free and 3-under for the day.Logan_Sutto_300x200

Rylan Wotherspoon, CJ Scohy, Cameron Phillips and Chris Pollak all fired scores of 68 (-4) to tie for second after round one.

The hardest hole was the par three 8th with a scoring average of 3.58. The easiest hole was the par five 15th with a scoring average of 4.68, including an impressive 3 eagles and 32 birdies in the field. The average score for the first round was 76.27.

In addition, our very own Miami Valley Intern, Griffin Turner, had a hole-in-one on the 13th!

Tee times begin tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. with the final group of Logan Sutto, Rylan Wotherspoon and CJ Scohy teeing off at 11:40 a.m. After tomorrow's round, the field will be cut to 32 players and ties for the final two rounds. The cut line is currently at 2-over-par.
