The Miami Valley Team Invitational (MVTI) returns on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Dayton Country Club, and we invite your club to begin planning for one of the Miami Valley’s premier team championships. The MVTI is a gross, stroke-play competition featuring eight-player teams competing across three formats and 27 holes in a single day, designed to test depth, strategy, and versatility.

Teams consist of eight players, with four competing on the Front 9 and four on the Back 9 for each of the three shotguns. The day’s three formats are Four Ball (Better Ball), Foursomes (Alternate Shot), and Individual Stroke Play (Singles) with no team member playing the same nine holes in all three formats, adding a unique strategic element to roster decisions.

The entry fee is $1,600 per team ($200 per player, billed to each club) and includes 27 holes of golf, cart and range balls, a boxed lunch, non-alcoholic beverages, hors d’oeuvres following play.  Each club team may include one professional golfer employed by or affiliated with the club in each format of play.
