| DAYTON LADIES WIN TRI-CITY MATCHES |
 Held annually the first Tuesday of August between women's organizations representing Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. This Match Play Format awards points for holes won and halved.
This year, team Dayton won 30.5 more points than second place team Columbus, and 57.5 more points than team Cincinnati.
The history of this event can be traced back for decades. More recently, Dayton has shown strong play capturing six of the last eight competitions.

 The Final Matches are set for Tuesday at Moraine Country Club. Two matches are fourball net and two matches are fourball gross, between NCR and Sycamore Creek.

| REGISTER NOW FOR THE SENIOR METROPOLITAN & MID AM |
 The Senior Metropolitan and Mid Am will be held at Miami Valley Golf Club on Tuesday, September 4 and Wednesday, September 5. Tee Times will begin at 8am and run until late morning or early afternoon.
There are four divisions of play. Mid Am (25-49) Overall Senior (50 & Over) and Ages 64-74 & 75 and Older.

| DDWGA FALL CLASSIC Deadline TUESDAY |
 The DDWGA Fall Classic, will be held on Monday, August 20th and it's gets underway with a 9am Shotgun at Walnut Grove.
The event features, 18 Holes of 1 Net and 1 Gross Better Ball Play from four (4) person teams.
Teams consisting of four ladies representing the same club will be competing for an extra prize: a traveling trophy to be displayed at their club for the next year. The annual Low Net and Low Gross award will also be up for grabs for the Pin Winners that are in the field.

| US MEN'S US AMATEURS Starts Monday |
 Our Qualifiers - Patrick Cover and Austin Sipe tee it up on Monday in the US Amateur held this year at Pebble Beach and its companion course Spyglass Hills. Austin tees off at 9:04 (PDT), or 12:04(EDT). Patrick tees off at 11:45 (PDT) or 3:45(EDT).

| HOW OUR US WOMEN'S AMATEUR QUALIFIERS DID |
 Three of our six ladies made it to match play, but the three who made it to match play, Lauren Hartlage, Kylie Raines and Adeena Shears all lost in the first round of 64. Adeena did survive a 9 for 1 playoff when she tied for the 64th position after the 36 Hole Stroke Play Qualifying. She played the four holes required in two under par to outlast the other eight players who all ended stroke play tied at 145. The semifinals are today and will be shown on FS2 beginning at 10am.
