This year's Get A Girl Golfing was one for the ages.  With over 90 girls in attendance and temporary downpours of rain, some wondered if the event would continue.  Enough praise can not be given to the University of Dayton and Ohio State golf coaches for braving the storm with the young ladies.  The coaches and volunteers set an excellent example for the girls by continuing to instruct and be there to listen despite the heavy rain.  After all, a little rain should not stop a great round of golf!
   
The goal of the day was to give girls an opportunity to meet and interact with other girls of similar golf interest, have fun, and along the way learn some valuable information about golf.  By the end of the event it was apparent that the girls had a wonderful time.
