Peter Samborsky II earned 400 points to capture Miami Valley Golf’s 2026 honor, adding to a season highlighted by his Senior and Mid-Amateur Metropolitan victories. The five-time Metropolitan champion now holds five career Player of the Year awards.

Butler University swept the men's and women's team and individual titles at the University of Dayton Invitational, held is this past Monday and Tuesday at NCR Country Club.
