Are You posting Your scores ? |
With the last few days of spring upon us, remember that we started the score posting season on March 15th. Not sure when to post a score?
Reasons when NOT to post your score... - You played fewer than 7 holes
- You played by yourself
- You practiced during your round, ie.. The holes you played where not played in accordance with the principles of the Rules of Golf, however if you play preferred lies (winter rules) those scores should be posted
- You played on a short course whose length was less than 3,000 yards for 18-holes
- You played on a course with no USGA Course and Slope Rating and unfortunately we have a few.
- You played with or carried non-conforming clubs or used non-conforming balls
- You used an artificial device (as defined under Rule 14-3) during the execution of a stroke. (There are a few grip aid gloves that fall into this category)
Now....If you go to post your score and have a problem...It's likely you have not renewed for the 2019 season yet. The season runs from March 15th to March 14th regardless of when you renew your membership. Membership Portal
Not all of you need to worry about this as your club may manage this process for you. |
