Next Up - Masters Event 1

 Monday, kicks off the Miami Valley Masters Season with their first event at Troy Country Club. These individual Low Gross and Low Net competitions by age division, offer the perfect mix of competition and fun for those male golfers over the age of 50.

| Is your Club Certified to Issue Your USGA Handicap Index |
 The USGA has asked that a representative from each of our authorized golf clubs, preferably the Handicap Chairperson, complete the Club Compliance Checklist and the assessment and provide a candid response to each question. The assessment will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. This assessment is not pass/fail, but rather an opportunity for the club representative to utilize their knowledge of the USGA Handicap System. Upon completing the education assessment, the club will receive an email confirming completion as well as a summary their responses. We appreciate all of your efforts to have this requirement completed by no later than June 30th.

 The 2018 season brought NEW, BETTER Tournament Management Software to all of our member facilities. The USGA Tournament Management powered by Golf Genius has greatly enhanced capabilities, but like anything change can be challenging and the old system is no longer available, so we are all forced to adapt. We have already seen wonderful improvements because of the change, however, sometimes see some failures too.
So...Please be gentle on your golf staff just in case something goes wrong. |

 After this winter, we all where a little surprised, but grateful to be greeted by a beautiful spring day for the annual playing of the Spring Better Ball held this past Monday, at Wildwood Golf Club Our winners for our first event of the year in the Senior Net Division was Don Patterson and Steve Parker who successfully defended their title from 2017. Over in the Net division, the team of Tim Walker and John Ramby outdistanced the field by two shots with there fourball score of 61. In the Senior Gross Division, the brothers of Rob & John Jones won by three shots in firing a 66. And in the Gross Division it took an extra hole to determine the winner as three teams tied at 67. The team of Andy Arp and Chad Sherrill won the sudden death playoff with a birdie on #1. View all the results, photos and more...

| DDWGA Spring SHamble Moved to Piqua CC |
 With the uncertain status at Browns Run CC it was decided to move this years DDWGA Spring Shamble to Piqua CC. All those already in the field will be refunded their full entry if they would like to withdraw. For all those still wishing to register they may do so here
The Deadline to Register is this Tuesday at Midnight
