| THE CELEBRATION IS MONDAY | October 6, 2018 |
 Our Final Event for the 2018 Golf Season will be held this Monday at Dayton CC.
This event remembers and aims to captures the spirit of Dr. Philip Hughes who was the second President of Miami Valley Golf, but much more than that he has a friend to everyone and a great advocate for our Game.
Through his very large network of contacts both here in the Miami Valley and throughout the Nation, Phil was able to bring together the resources needed to push Miami Valley Golf over the hurdles that had always prevented our area from forming a lasting collective Alliance.
To ensure our Golf Community never forgets Phil's Considerable contributions, the MVGA and Dayton Country Club, his golf home for more than 40 years, annually presents the season ending Celebration Crystal to the winning team in his honor. For More Details on Monday's Event |
| Masters event Wrap Up from Monday |
 The final Masters Event of the 2018 season was held this past Monday in near perfect conditions at Moraine CC.
Thanks to Moraine for hosting and all those who played.

| PARTNER SPOTLIGHT |
 Jenell Ross, President of the Bob Ross Auto Group, who's company has been a long time supporter of our golf community was awarded the 2018 Legion of Honor Award by the President's Club of Dayton this past Thursday. The honor recognizes volunteerism in the Dayton region and has been awarded every year since 1951.
For those of you who know Jenell it is an award most deserved. As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month we encourage you to donate to her Pink Ribbon Driven Charity or take part in the Making Strides of Dayton walk against breast cancer on October 20
