| A few items to review before you arrive to volunteer: |
| 1. Please check-in at the volunteer registration area - at Miami Valley Golf Club, the volunteer registration area will be on the green awning covered patio behind the clubhouse. |
| 2. Avoid initiating general conversation with players and caddies — be friendly, but not conversational. This is a significant event, and we must respect each player's focus and routine. If you’re unable to confirm a score yourself, speak with the player's caddie. Avoid conversation with the player whenever possible. |
| 3. Wear comfortable shoes - tennis shoes are best. |
| 4. Dress for the conditions of the day. Please wear your Miami Valley Golf attire (can be provided as needed). Generally accepted golf attire is the dress code for the day. |
| 5. If you need readers - bring a pair with you. |
| 6. Walking Scorers - Please ensure your phone is fully charged. Stand in appropriate locations away from players' field of vision and sight lines. Stay off of teeing areas and putting greens. |
| 7. Forecaddies - Bring a chair and any vision assistance you feel you may need. |
| 8. If you are not a scorer, bring your cell phone and be sure it is set to silent and vibration is disabled. |
| 9. Please make sure you download our Golf Genius App which is used for entering scores or reviewing the leaderboard (Google Play) (Apple Store) |
| 10. Please make sure you download our GroupMe App. This is the main method of communication between MVG staff and volunteers. (Google Play) (Apple Store) |
| 11. Lunch will be provided at no cost between 11:00AM-3:00PM to all volunteers. |
