2026 OHSAA Southwest District Golf
Seventeen completed sectionals have narrowed the field for five District Championships at Heatherwoode Golf Club in Springboro.
1,190 golfers competed across 17 sectionals; 407 advanced to District play, a 34.2% overall rate.
These rates describe the share of listed golfers who advanced, rather than any individual golfer’s chance of qualifying.

Counting method: All listed golfers are included, including DNF/DQ entries. Advancing golfers are the listed members of qualifying teams plus individual qualifiers, each counted once. At Girls D2 WGC, four qualifying teams listed 19 golfers; four individual qualifiers brought the total to 23. Boys D3 advanced five teams and five individuals at Shelby Oaks, three and three at The Mill AM, and four and four at Turtle Creek.

Division I advances three teams and three individuals from each District Championship. Boys D2, Boys D3 and Girls D2 each advance two teams and two individuals. Individual qualifiers come from schools whose teams do not advance.

Assuming five players per advancing team, Boys D1 and Girls D1 each send 18 of 96 District golfers (18.8%); Boys D2 and D3 each send 12 of 72 (16.7%). Girls D2 projects 12 of 71 (16.9%), provisionally, because one qualifying team listed four golfers. District rosters can change. The percentages are place shares, not predictions.
