Tim Harrington is a new volunteer with Miami Valley Golf who leans on his passion for golf and dedication to serving others. Tim first discovered the game in college, where a physical education credit sparked what became a lifelong love of golf.

A member of Heatherwoode Golf Course, he has enjoyed many memorable experiences, including being named the 2019 Dayton Area Doc Wright Golf League Team of the Year with his playing partner and even playing golf in Tanzania.

After retiring from the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority in 2023, Tim now works part-time at Heatherwoode and continues to give back through volunteer service, including at professional golf tournaments. He and his wife of 48 years have three children, five grandchildren, and remain active in their church and local community.
