- Our Senior Player of the Year, Pete Betzold, had a another good season, securing this title for the second consecutive year and third overall. Pete’s performance included making the cut in the 102nd Metropolitan, a runner-up finish in the Senior Metropolitan, a top-10 finish in the US Senior Amateur Qualifier, and a 12th place finish in the Ohio Senior Amateur. These finishes earned him the top spot in our Senior Player of the Year Points race.

Tied for second and just 60 points back, were recently eligible and 5-time Metropolitan Champion, Pete Samborsky and this year’s Senior Metropolitan Amateur Champion, Brian Bair. Ryan Bowman, Cedarville University’s Men’s Golf Coach, claimed fourth place, while Rick Lyons rounded out the top five.
