- Is attending Ohio University, majoring in Journalism in the Scripps program. With aspirations to write for a golf magazine or news outlet, she also plays golf for Ohio University. Collegiate golf has instilled in her an appreciation for opportunities and the importance of staying present, values that have greatly enriched her life off the course.

Before attending Ohio University, Morgan played golf at Centerville High School, where she was a member of the team for four years. In 2022, her team won the state championship under the guidance of Coach Mike Dalton. Being part of a team with shared values fueled her desire to play golf at the collegiate level. High school golf taught her that the connections formed with other players are far more meaningful than any score or award.

Morgan joined the Youth on Course (YOC) program when she started playing golf around age 10. This program significantly influenced her love for the sport and encouraged her to play more often with her friends. Her role with Miami Valley Golf is to expand opportunities for junior golfers through YOC programs and other initiatives.

Position Overview

In her role, Morgan will engage with partner golf courses, grow memberships, and promote Youth on Course programs, which provide subsidized rounds, high school internships, caddie opportunities, and college scholarships. This position aligns perfectly with her passion for golf and her proactive approach to fostering opportunities for others.

Position Objectives

1. Strengthen Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing course partners through calls, emails, and site visits.
2. Expand Course Network: Identify and onboard new partner courses by negotiating agreements with course owners, management companies, and municipalities.
3. Membership Growth: Assist with membership inquiries and provide support to ensure exceptional service for all YOC members.
4. Marketing and Social Media: Collaborate on marketing initiatives, social media posts, and outreach strategies to increase engagement.
5. Event Development: Plan and execute special events that promote YOC programs and engage the community.
6. Education and Features: Write regular features, articles, and educational materials on topics such as golf rules, etiquette, health, and preparation for high school or college golf.

Morgan will combine her personal experiences and professional skills to grow and promote programs that make golf accessible and enjoyable for young players. Her journey in golf has shaped who she is, and her role will allow her to give back to the sport that has given her so much.
