Best Practices for Score Posting:

• Timely Posting – Enter your scores on the same day you play to ensure your Handicap Index remains up-to-date and reflects current playing conditions.
• Accurate Entry – When posting scores for 10 to 17 holes, use the hole-by-hole entry method for the most precise calculation of your Handicap Index.
• Post Every Acceptable Score – Ensure all rounds played are posted, with only a few limited exceptions.
• Post in All Eligible Formats – Scores from match play, stroke play, best-ball, and even some team events may be acceptable if individual strokes are recorded.
• Account for Preferred Lies – If playing under winter rules, scores should still be posted unless course conditions significantly impact play, as communicated by the course.
• Know When to Post an Estimated Score – If a hole is conceded in match play or a round is incomplete, post a score using the most likely outcome following WHS guidelines.
