James is an active member at both Mound Golf Course in Miamisburg and Yankee Trace in Centerville. His introduction to golf came through his business associates, and what began as a professional pastime quickly grew into a lasting passion. Over the years, that dedication has paid off—he and his partner have won their league at Mound Golf Course twice.

Now retired for three years, James has embraced a full and active lifestyle. Beyond the fairways, he serves as a trustee at his church, continuing his commitment to giving back to his community. When he’s not golfing, he enjoys woodworking, following Ohio State football and the Cincinnati Bengals, and cheering on the University of Dayton basketball team.
