Over the years, Jim’s passion has translated into numerous tournament victories, including the Mercedes Championship at Yankee Trace in 2005, and a series of accolades at Greene Country Club, Springfield Country Club, and through the Golfweek Amateur Tour. His accomplishments at Springfield include the Senior Championship in 2022, the President’s Cup in 2020, and the 1st Flight Championship in 2021.

Jim’s golf successes extend further, with multiple championship wins across Ohio, including the Senior Metro Champion title for the 50-59 age group in 2008 and the 2011 MVGA 2-Man Metro & Spring Better Ball Senior Gross Champion. He’s also captured titles in both the Senior and Regular categories at courses like North Star Golf Club, Delaware CC, and Lancaster CC.

Beyond golf, Jim has a strong sense of community service. Retired from his career in retirement community leadership, he is also an active volunteer at the Christian Life Center and a committed blood, platelet, and plasma donor. When not volunteering he keeps busy by hiking, reading, yard work, and tackling DIY projects.

Jim has five children and fifteen grandchildren. His contributions to golf and his  community make him a valued member of the Miami Valley Golf community.
