| Bob Holz |
| -Bob Holz is a new volunteer with Miami Valley Golf and a long-time resident of the region. He resides in Lebanon, Ohio and has lived in the Miami Valley for nearly 40 years. He considers himself fortunate to have played many of the area’s great courses. His favorites include Beavercreek Golf Club and Elks Run in Batavia. Bob was introduced to golf as a junior by his father and took to the game immediately. He has strong memories from competing on his high school golf team, experiences that helped cement a lifelong connection to the sport. In 1993, he won the A Flight Club Championship at NCR Country Club. More recently, he has captured several wins in A Flight events on the Cincinnati/Dayton Golfweek Senior ![]() Amateur Tour. He continues to play golf regularly. Now retired, Bob spent most of his professional career at NCR. Beyond golf, he has a strong volunteer background, including time at the Cincinnati Open (tennis) and the Cincinnati LPGA event, the Kroger Queen City Championship. He has also been a regular tennis player throughout his life and is an avid reader, with a preference for fiction. Bob and his wife are empty nesters, sharing their home with a cat and have three children and two grandchildren, all living locally. His deep ties to the Miami Valley and lifelong appreciation for golf make him a welcome addition to the Miami Valley Golf volunteer community. |
