Goecke_Takes_the_Lead_copyBacking up his first-round 67 with a second-round 65, Tyler Goecke moved into the lead at 10 under par, opening a 3-shot lead. Throughout his two rounds, Tyler has yet to make a bogey. Timmy Hollenbeck, a WSU golfer, also fired a 65 in the second round, making 7 birdies against one lone bogey on the par-3 8th hole, moving him into second place. Aiden Wilhelm, in third place, and Brock Rumpke, in fourth, each shot a second-round 69. The only other under-par round was a 70 by Scott Thompson.

The cut fell at +9, with 36 players making it the final 36 holes. The hardest hole of the day was the par-4, 455-yard 12th hole, while the easiest continued to be the first hole. The second round played slightly over half a stroke harder at 77.63, compared to Thursday's first-round score of 76.95.

Hole #14 was adjusted to make the normally short par-4 driveable, resulting in only one eagle. Hole #5, a par-3, was pushed back to play at 240 yards, increasing scores and making it the second hardest-ranked hole of the day.

Tee times will begin at 7:30 A.M. and conclude with the leaders teeing off at 9:31 A.M. Spectators are welcome to attend. Today's round has been posted to the competitors' handicap records as a Competition Score.
