|Is your Neck Killing Your Game|
Many golfers have limited range of motion with their golf swing. Limitations during the back swing can be particularly problematic. There can be numerous factors for these limitations. Decreased external rotation with the lead hip, limited internal rotation of the trail hip or limited thoracic rotation are some of the common culprits.
One area that is often overlooked with the golf swing is cervical rotation, or turning your head side to side. Many people don’t think that movement will have an impact on your swing but it is actually one of the screens people fail the most. During the backswing there should be 45 to 50 degrees of right thoracic rotation and at least 70 degrees of left cervical rotation for right handed golfers.

|IS YOUR mvga/ghin membership inactive?|
To correspond with the ending of the off season and the beginning of the new golf season our MVGA/GHIN Membership 2020 season closed on Sunday, March 14 and the 2021 season began on Monday, March 15.
Just what does that mean?
If you play at a public facility or are a member of a non real estate club like "eClub" and have not already renewed for the upcoming season your account was placed into an "Inactive Status".
To change this status all you need to do is renew at the facility either online or in person.
If you are a member at a Private Facility the staff manages this for you, therefore, no action is needed.
