Here are a few important items to review before you arrive to volunteer:

1. Volunteer Check-In: Please check in at the Volunteer Registration Area. (Exact 2025 location will be provided prior to event.)
   
   
2. Interaction with Players: Avoid initiating general conversation with players and caddies — be friendly, but not conversational. If you’re unable to confirm a score yourself, speak with their caddie. Avoid direct conversation with the player whenever possible.
   
   
3. Footwear: Wear comfortable shoes — tennis shoes are recommended.
   
   
4. Attire: Dress for the conditions. Please wear your Miami Valley Golf attire (available if needed). Generally accepted golf attire is required.
   
   
5. Vision Aids: If you need readers, bring a pair with you.
   
   
6. Walking Scorers: Ensure your phone is fully charged. Stand away from players’ sight lines and avoid teeing areas and putting greens.
   
   
7. Spotters: Bring a chair and any vision assistance you may need.
   
   
8. Phones: If not scoring, ensure your cell phone is on silent and vibration is disabled.
   
   
9. Golf Genius App: Please download the Golf Genius App for score entry and leaderboard access:

10. GroupMe App: Please download the GroupMe App for team communication:

11. Meals: Lunch will be provided at no cost to all volunteers between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
