The United States Golf Association, along with the Miami Valley Golf Association, wishes to thank all the volunteers who will and have assisted at the U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying and other Association and USGA Qualifying Championships. 

Each year tens of thousands enter our national and regional championships hoping to qualify or win a championship. 

Scoring volunteers are asked to walk with a group to record individuals’ scores after every hole or record scores at scoring stations throughout our Qualifiers or Championships.  This process allows all those interested to follow along throughout the event.
