 - This past Monday, the annual Celebration Event took place at Dayton Country Club. In this variable best ball format, the team from Sycamore Creek, consisting of Roger Sorey, Joe Stomps, Doug O’Keefe, and Jon McDonald, claimed victory and added their names to the Celebration Crystal, an award named in honor of our second president, Dr. Philip C. Hughes.Finishing in second place was the team of Daryl Nels, Sara Sorey, Kevin Nels, and Jim Rigano, while third place went to John Burkhardt, Mark Mays, Al Schoolcraft, and Hank Oakes.
