- Al’s
professional career spans 27 years of distinguished service in the United
States Air Force, where he retired as a Colonel. One of his career highlights
was serving as the 88th Air Base Wing Support Group Commander at
Wright-Patterson AFB, where he played a key role in managing operations for the
Bosnian Peace Accords. After retiring from the Air Force, Al spent 12 years
working as a defense contractor in the Dayton area. Beyond his contributions to golf, Al is also an active
community volunteer. He serves at the Beavercreek Senior Center as a bus and
van driver and heads the training for new volunteers. Al also enjoys playing pickleball and traveling. His wife, Janet, is a well-known figure in
the Dayton area pickleball community. Together, they share a passion for
staying active and sports. Their family includes a son in Columbus, a daughter in
Beavercreek, and four grandchildren ranging from 6 to 25 years old. Thanks Al, for your service to our game and to the Miami
