- Rich Ritter has been named the new head coach of
Cedarville University’s
men’s and
women’s golf
teams. He will be the first-ever head coach of the Lady Jackets’ golf program and will
take over the men's team following the retirement of Ryan Bowen, who is
stepping down after 19 seasons.Ritter joins Cedarville after a highly successful coaching
career at New Albany High School, where he led both the boys’ and girls’ programs. Under his
leadership, the girls' team won four straight Ohio Division I State
Championships (2018-2021) and secured seven consecutive Ohio Capital
Conference titles. His boys' teams have also won the last three league
championships. Ritter, an eight-time Ohio Capital Conference Coach of the
Year, has coached multiple players who have gone on to compete at the NCAA
level. A former collegiate golfer at Ohio Wesleyan University, he now
takes on the challenge of building Cedarville’s
newly established women’s
program while continuing the success of the men’s
