Guidelines for MVGA US Open Contest

Welcome to the 2008 US Open Contest.  The following information is intended to answer your questions on the contest.  If you have any additional questions send us an email: at info@miamivalleygolf.org.  Enjoy the US Open !!!

The starting field is divided into five groups.  The 5 groups are based on the World Golf Rankings as of May 28, 2008.   The top 10 in the first group, 11 - 20 in the second group, and so on.

Eligibility for the contest if restricted to Golf Association Members who subscribe to the MVGA-GHIN Handicap Service through their member club or course. 

To play… simply select one player from each group. 

When the US Open is over and the final purse is released we simply add up the money from your selected players and the person who's selections total the highest wins.

The person who’s selected group wins the most money will get a $250 Dollar Gift Certificate from the golf shop where their GHIN Handicap resides.
