Thanks to his top 10 finishes in both the Ohio Mid Am and US Amateur Sectional, his top 20 finish in the Ohio Am, his sixth place finish in the Metropolitan and tie for second in the MVGA Mid Amateur Championship this last week, Jeff Scohy is our 2018 Player of the Year.  This is Jeff's sixth player of the year honor having won it previously in 2008, 14, 15 & 16.

Over in the Senior Division, Ron Eubel's strong play in the US Senior Open Sectional, his Qualifying for the US Senior Amateur, his strong play in the Ohio Senior Amateur as well as his tie for fourth in the Senior Metropolitan, place Ron on top of the Senior Play of the Year Point race for the 2018 season.

Formal presentation of both of these awards will occur at our year end awards banquet to be held after the Celebration Event at Dayton CC on Monday, October 8th.

PLAY IN THE SEASON ENDING CELEBRATION 

Our Final Event for the 2018 Golf Season will be held at Dayton CC on Columbus Day, Monday, October 8th.  This viable best ball format, is open to all ages and genders.  Lunch and the Annual Awards Banquet follow play.

Congratulations to NCR Country Club who’s total score 444 outdistance the second-place and host club Piqua CC by four shots.  This is NCR's 6th victory in the MVTI.
