| Walnut Grove to Host Spring Better Ball |
 A great season awaits those interested in playing in any of our Association Events. The season starts off with the Spring Better Ball on Monday, May 6th at Walnut Grove CC, followed by the 1st Miami Valley Masters Event on May 13th at Urbana CC then our first DDWGA Event on May 20th at Sugar Valley GC.

 Register for the 2019 Season Challenge to post more rounds of golf during our active season (March 15 to November 30) than you did in 2018.
The Grand Prize will be a $750 Gift Certificate to the Miami Valley Golf Shop of the winners choosing.
The drawing will be held in early December. Chances for wining the Grand Prize will increase based on the number of scores posted over their 2018 total.
To be eligible you must have posted at least 5 rounds in 2018.

| College Golf Review |
 The Wright State golf team finished eighth of 18 teams in the Savannah Invitational in GA this past Sunday. Cole Corder was the low raider when he tied for 4th with rounds of 72-70-73=215. View Final Results The Raiders will be back in action at the Lonnie Barton Invitational in Daytona, FL on March 4th & 5th

 The University of Dayton men's golf team finished strong in A-10 match play. The Flyers defeated Morehead State 3.5 to 2.5 in the third round to close out match play. After a tough defeat in the first round, the Flyers were able to regroup and come away with two huge victories in the second and third round.
View Match Results This Monday and Tuesday the Flyers travel to Hilton Head for the Wexford Plantation Invitational UD Ladies start there season this weekend when they play in the COFC Kiawah Island Spring Classic down in SC.

 The Wittenberg Women's start their season this upcoming weekend on March 1st & 2nd when they travel Lake View Golf Club to play in the Callaway Gardens Intercollegiate, the Men start their season later in the week when they also compete in the Callaway Gardens Intercollegiate but they will play on the Mountain & Lake View Courses on March 4th & 5th. |
| Upcoming Rules workshops |
 With major changes to the Rules of Golf now in effect, your Miami Valley Golf will offer an expanded schedule of complimentary workshops. They will take place this off season across our area. The Next Sessions are: Saturday, Mar. 9th - NCR CC - 10am - Noon
Saturday, March 23th - Piqua - 10am - Noon

| TOURNAMENT/LEAGUE SOFTWARE TRAINING |
On April 2nd, Troy Country Club will host a free training on the Tournament Management Software powered by Golf Genius. This web based golf event management software is available to all Courses and League Managers in the Miami Valley. The session will begin at 10am and will conclude at 2pm. Lunch will be included. PGA Professionals will receive MSR Credit for attending.
Attendees are welcome and encouraged to bring their laptops or tablets and the education session will end with a Question and Answers Period.
