NEWS RELEASE... TO ALL THOSE INTERESTED IN SUPPORTING GIRL GOLFERS | ||||||||||||||

The Dayton District Women’s Golf Association (DDWGA) is again offering young girls who reside in the Dayton/Miami Valley area scholarship and playing opportunities. We offer three scholarships, two for summer golf camps and one for a graduating senior who plans to attend college. | ||||||||||||||
|
The camp scholarships are awarded by a random drawing held in May. One scholarship is given to a student who is 12-14 years old and one is given to a student who is 15 -18 years old. Any girl interested in golf, regardless of her ability, is eligible to win by completing an application and returning it by April 15. | ||||||||||||||
|
We also are proud to award financial scholarships to graduating seniors who are going on to college. These scholarships are awarded on several criteria; including need, academic record, amount of involvement in DDWGA events throughout high school, as well as other criteria. A committee will review the applicants and the students will be notified in writing of the outcome. | ||||||||||||||
