| DDWGA Twin Best Ball Results |
 On Monday, August 18th seventy-six ladies made their way to Sycamore Creek Country Club for the DDWGA Twin Best Ball event. It was a humid, overcast day with an occasional drizzle of rain, but the golf course was in superb condition. Along with the overall prizes for the event there were individual contests on the course including 4 closest to the hole proximity markers. The winners of the closest to the hole contests were Peggy Heitz on #3, Becky Krakowski on #5, Annette Oakes on #11, and Robin Dunkle on #14. The winning team for for flight 1 net with a score of 126 was the team of Marciel Marcus, Maria Oria, Robin Dunkle, and Shelly Steffano. Not far behind in second place was Becky Rogers, Jessica Chilton, Marie Greene, and Sylvia Baker with a 130. Finally, wrapping up the top three with a 132 was the foursome of Anne Holtz, Diana Juergens, Linda Tyree, and Rachael Arnold. In the flight 2 net division the winners with a 124 were Linda Glidewell, Linda Hoekstra, Rosemary Smith and Shirley Clark. Second place was awarded to Crystal Danishek, Denyse LaGasse, Kathie King, and Terry Meintel with a 129. The third place winners with a 132 were Betsy Harris, Dana Cluxton, Paula MacIlwaine, and Sherry Hayes. |
| In the gross division the winners with a 149 were Kathy Ingersoll, Cathy Jefferson, Tee Pazitney, and Molly Horstman. Coming in second place was the team of Susan Seitz, Cindy Burton, Penny Bitzer, and Jami Kruithoff with a 157. Rounding out the top 3 with a 160 was Daryl Nels, Cynthia Pratt, Kerry Bowden, and Eunhee Felts. |
