Betsy Reynolds is honored for her service to the DDWGA and | ||

 The 2009 DDWGA Annual Club Rep. meeting took place on Thursday March 26th with Dayton Country Club as its host. This year two outstanding DDWGA members were honored for their service. Betsy Reynolds was honored for her many years of service to the DDWGA and women's golf in the Dayton District. Along with Betsy, Sarah Cunningham, the outgoing DDWGA President, was recognized for her commitment to the DDWGA and the leadership she has given to the association during her Presidential term.  Along with honoring both Betsy and Sarah, the DDWGA Board Chairs each gave an overview of their responsibilities and also implored members to get more involved in all areas of the DDWGA.The DDWGA also held elections for two positions on the Board of Directors committee. Former Vice President, Sarah Hoschouer was elected as the next President, while Carol Smith was reelected to her position as Secretary to the DDWGA. With members from over 20 clubs represented at this years meeting, members came away from the meeting with a positive feeling of moving forward and increasing scholarship and tournament efforts in 2009. |
