Sugar Valley Golf Club: Grand Re-Opening Under New Ownership |
The Dodds, who also own Jasper Hills Golf Club and Jasper Kitchen + Bar, acquired Sugar Valley on October 31, 2024, determined to preserve its legacy while elevating its offerings. After years of uncertainty about the club’s future, their investment ensures that Sugar Valley remains a staple in the region’s golf landscape. Transforming the Clubhouse and CourseUpon acquisition, the Dodds wasted no time initiating an ambitious renovation of the 15,000-square-foot clubhouse, with a strong focus on enhancing the dining experience. The restaurant space has doubled in seating capacity, now featuring brand-new furniture and a remodeled bar. A new culinary team has designed an upscale menu, offering high-quality dishes ranging from steaks and pork chops to gourmet salads and appetizers. The clubhouse itself underwent a major reconfiguration, relocating the golf simulator to the lower level, expanding the pro shop, and updating the banquet hall and dining areas. Meanwhile, on the course, upgrades included a revamped irrigation system and the introduction of drought-tolerant grass varieties, ensuring top-tier playing conditions from tee to green.
