For the 100 Hole Hike | ||
- The 2nd Annual 100 Hole Hike benefiting Youth on Course took place this past Monday, October 28th, at the historic Donald Ross-designed Miami Valley Golf Club. Despite a light frost delaying the start until 8:30 AM, it turned out to be an exceptional day for golf. With limited daylight, only three players—Evan Shibel, Parker Bont, and Isaak Ramsey—completed all 100 holes, demonstrating remarkable endurance. Isaak, who works with Golf Exchange, averaged 2.7 miles per hour, including time for shots and breaks, while Evan and Parker finished just as daylight faded. Donations are still being accepted through the end of November to support Youth on Course, which provides young people with affordable access to golf and life-changing opportunities. Members can play rounds for $5 or less at thousands of courses across the U.S., Canada, and Australia, including local courses such as Yankee Trace, Heatherwoode, the Mound, Miami Shores, and Reid Park in the Miami Valley. Thank you to all participants and donors for supporting this worthy cause. | ||
